Sorry for the inconvenience

-Andrew

My router is running on OpenWrt Attitude Adjustment 12.09.1 and the GUI is OpenWrt LuCI Trunk 1.0.188. I've been trying to forward ports through the GUI but that doesn't seem to work, so then I tried to forward ports by SSHing into the router and manually editing /etc/config/firewall and editing the port forwarding section. That didn't help either so I'm out of ideas. Anyone here familiar with OpenWrt shit?

Not helpful, but... just switch to pfSense, so much nicer. You'll be glad you did.

For successful port forwarding it is necessarily to have a white IP address, which you can buy from your internet provider. Otherwise there is no point in trying to forward 'em by yourself at all.
