I was actually just about to suggest this. In the example of me searching my own name to see if people replied to my posts. That is hugely used in forums.

Question: Did you code this forums from scratch or is it a source you are modifying? I was surprised you didn't use something free like Zetaboards. But I assume you wanted more control.

I wrote it myself so that I could properly integrate it with my account system.

It's pretty good for a custom made. I assume PHP with a backend of SQL?

Python with flask connected to a MariaDB instance.
