Why would we credit mojang and microsoft? they have no hand in classicalsharp. It optionally downloads their textures for the user, but they aren't included.

Further, how would you expect steam users to start playing? "I downloaded this game and now I have to go to some website to register? what the heck!"

The game would likely be heavily criticised for being a 'Minecraft Ripoff' and could get low ratings for that reason. And as Andrew mentioned above, Mojang or Microsoft played no role in helping to develop the game.

A ripoff but it's a game based from Mojang. It has most of the formulas from their minecraft classic. So how can they see this as a ripoff by their logic?

Lol? you can't have steam connect to classicsharp? Just have steam make the username/account for classicalsharp.

And how do you know you'll get bad reviews without trying? "Can't know the result without trying to act on it"

It's better to update the game for hundreds of active players instead of 5, it's puzzling.

Classicalsharp has no code from Minecraft, it is 100% unique to cs.

Have steam create the account for the user? How do you propose that to work, exactly?

Bad Idea, should be Denied.

it wouldn't be the first game that you needed a offsite account, and you could put in the description what it was or a slogan that tells what it is in the title when a user opens the game

there are plenty of games that needs offsite accounts, and most of them are free-to-play, and somethimes are actually good most of the time mmo's, tough bad reviews would be inevitable because people would think its a minecraft ripoff, and it would also flood the forums with people asking for server software to make skywars servers in this game and transform it in a fully fledged minecraft

dont put it in steam, i prefer 5 people active rather than 300 people asking if there is a hunger games server in here

There's a difference between accounts being off-site and accounts needing to be created and verified outside the launcher.
