Instead of an 'entertainment' category, I've made a 'Video Games' and 'Programming' category. I may also make a 'Sports' or 'TV' category if people want it.

I have two suggestions that don't belong here. The first suggestion is a place for forum feature suggestions. The second suggestion is for a number of topics and/or posts for each forum next to the list of them.

That was already on my todo list - the category list page was rushed.

I agree in that there probably should be an introduction forum!
